:: ECLIPSE CLOCK ONE (Sextant) ::
This is the first piece in a series of six I made specifically to be viewed out-of-doors in the sun
during the April 8 ( 2024) eclipse.
The main body is a antique wooden rack with lens blanks in it, augmented with a glass orb as well as a sextant. The former clock carving on the top of the piece has vine tendrils replacing the deer's horns. The brick in the bottom says "OHIO."
